The ALANA Collegiate Association’s Welcome Back Bonanza is an event catered to introducing the incoming freshman class to all that RIT’s multicultural community has to offer. The bonanza includes free food, activities, and entertainment hosted by ACA’s affiliates. By attending, crowds can learn more about how they can get involved on campus, interact with other students and alum of similar cultural backgrounds and begin building relationships with them to cultivate the essential collegiate support system. This event is a signature collaboration with Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. – Mu Sigma Chapter.

The “I AM ALANA” campaign is an annual photo campaign which celebrates ALANA students on campus. Every fall, a new theme is chosen and students volunteer to be photographed by an ALANA photography student. These photos are released in the spring semester during ALANA week.

ALANA week is an annual celebration which takes place for a full week during the spring semester. During this time, the “I AM ALANA” campaign is released and events that promote awareness of ALANA culture take place on campus, hosted by ACA and affiliates.
